Come and learn how to customise your shoes, boots, skates and more in spectacular metallic style!
Foiling is the most joyful way I know to personalise and magic-boost your footwear – and once you know how, you can apply it to bags, notebooks and lots more.
The nature of the technique means each piece is completely unique, and it’s a great way to breathe life back into old shoes or boots, as well as customising new or new-to-you pairs.
You bring the shoes – I’ll provide everything else!

Where is it?
In my upstairs studio in the Wivenhoe Business Centre – directions provided on booking. Please be aware it is up a single flight of stairs. I am on the hunt for an accessible venue too.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself, a pair of shoes or boots in a smooth material (leather or vegan leather, not fabric, or the foil won’t stick).
Ideally shoes/boots without zips or elastic, but we can work round this if needed.
I’d also advise wearing clothes you don’t mind getting covered in bits of foil as it is a wildly messy but very fun process.
Who is it suitable for?
Anyone 18+ who fancies some fabulous footwear!
How long is the workshop?
Officially three hours, though often fabulous conversations mean it’s a little longer.
